Job Title: Assistant Manager - Off TRade Reports to: Territory Sales Manager Department: Sales & amp nbsp Location:& amp nbsp Rajasthan -Jaipur,Jodhpur Haryan -Gurgaon West Bengal -- Durgapur,siliguri ,kolkata& amp nbsp Responsibilities/ Outcomes A. Strategic Provide on field inputs w.r.t. market demand, key trends, competitor strategy and other important market information that should be brought to management notice so as to modify/ refine company go to market strategy. Assist the regional/ territory manager in creation/ implementation various sales enablement programs & amp amp initiatives. Keep abreast of new/upcoming retails outlets (market, hypermarket, malls, model shop, etc.) and initiate dialogue/ negotiations for securing business for the company. Provide inputs to sales leadership to explore possible opportunities for implementing various A& amp amp P plans such as hiring of available shelf space, signage deal, etc., for brand advertising, within the regulations and Beam India marketing code. B. Operational Regularly monitors the orders taken by the sales executives from retail store and ensure order fulfilment within the permit validity. Constantly monitor the budget vs. sale target achievement and takes appropriate measures to provide the requisite sale push to achieve the same. Positions new product line/brand/SKU in the assigned sales zone/markets by direct interaction with key retailers/ through sales executive channel and keeping track of the process. Actively tracks sales movement of competitor products and marketing activities through sales channel and marketing intelligence and communicate exception scenarios to regional manager. Recommends and execute sales strategies/ promotional programs based on market research and competitor analyses. Play a proactive in planning and management of adequate stock inventory at the depot level to ensure availability of goods for timely dispatch helping company avoid situation of permit expiry/ non-delivery of goods. Manage the day-to-day bond operations including documentation, logistics arrangement, management and dispatch of stock. Follows up with the Distributor/ Dealer for Payment, collect payment and send the cheques to corporate AR team. Promote product and consumer awareness in compliance with local law & amp amp Company code Drive quality visibility for the brand across institutions. Identify shelf-space in prime outlets and put up proposals for securing them. Constantly look for new market opportunities and recommend appointment of new accounts, programmes, incentives, schemes etc. Systematically develop MIS, report competition activities. Ensure monthly reporting of objectives and results achieved including route plan accounting and territory coverage. Seek ways to increase efficiency and productivity on assigned accounts and create and maintain a positive impression with customers that will result in mutually beneficial long term business opportunities Implement sales development initiatives like Merchandising, shelf norms etc Implement sales call per callage norms in retail outlets Educate customer teams on portfolio and mixology support programmes. Gain a sound knowledge and understanding of clients business, brands and competitive market Develop and implement business reviews of key accounts on at least a quarterly basis with Sales / Marketing managers. SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & amp amp EXPERIENCE Knowledge of and experience in the beverage alcohol industry (trade, excise laws & amp amp distribution) will be preferred An individual with high energy and enthusiasm Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, extremely well groomed and sophisticated Should have the ability to take a large potential account, identify each stakeholder within the organisation and grow the account significantly in revenue, product range and penetration Motivated & amp amp uses their own initiative Ability to work to deadlines and/or under pressure and to remain calm and productive Strong interpersonal & amp amp influencing skills (Internally & amp amp Externally) Highly organized and able to prioritize business goals Analytical skills Problem solving & amp amp Conflict management Influencing skills Communication Excellent Working in Team Working in environments of ambiguity
