Job Description:Purpose Of Role: The role holder is responsible for managing large B2B/ eBonding projects and leading small/ medium integration projects, dealing with all relevant issues, often without the guidance of the manager. The role is customer-facing and involves managing deliveries across platforms, vendors, suppliers and leading test and development teams. The role holder must have detailed knowledge of how BT s systems can be integrated with customers to support and enable Service Assurance processes and operations. He/ she will provide support/ leadership in the formulation and delivery of networks, tools, technology, systems and information strategy and evolution plans for B2B integration with ITIL desks (ServiceNow, Remedy, ServiceGrid, IBM and HPSM) and new NGSD technologies. The role holder can also be responsible for supporting real time operational systems and resolution of complex technical issues. The role includes owning operational processes and ensuring support is provided to meet service level standards. The role holder meets business objectives, solves complex B2B business problems and furthers business success by applying industry, applications and technical knowledge through the definition of high level solutions. In addition he/ she may work proactively with the business to define new product developments. The role holder should leverage the experience of the relevant BT wide professional communities to discharge these responsibilities, thus ensuring knowledge sharing extends beyond the functional boundary of the role. The role holder may also play a key part in the BT wide professional communities. Key Responsibilities: Manage customer bonding engagements from bid to successful delivery The role holder will lead a team of Delivery Leads, designers, developers and testers To lead in the creation and execution of plans of all new Global Services B2B eBonding deliveries across all relevant ITIL disciplines (e.g. Incident, Service Request & amp amp Problem Management) To manage across all relevant TSO platform teams Understand and inform Service Assurance processes and operations and how the systems enable them To lead in the analysis, diagnostics of all in-life issues and to work with the relevant development teams to ensure a robust and satisfactory resolution Lead on designing solutions that give preference to BTGS strategic systems (e.g. NGSD) before resorting to non-strategic components. To engage in the acceptance of new strategic systems into the design solutions. To make the design and delivery process as efficient as possible. To assist in setting standards and objectives for the team. The role holder should leverage the experience of the relevant BT wide professional communities to discharge these responsibilities, thus ensuring knowledge sharing extends beyond the functional boundary of the role. Business Impact: Maintains a reputation for quality and delivery of their expertise to the business. Helps improve bonding processes and operations enabling improved NPS Contributes to the definition of strategy and evolution and/ or associated infrastructure investments for Group/ LoB. Responsible for engineering delivery plans for larger projects/ programmes. Contributes to the transformation strategy for a network, platform or technology discipline in own area of expertise. Manages team(s) to provide technical professional solutions and new innovative services. Authority/ Decision Making: Works under broad direction. Full accountability for own technical work or project/ management responsibilities. Receives assignments in the form of objectives. Establishes own milestones, team objectives and delegates assignments. Work is often self-initiated. Budget responsibility varies depending on the lines of business and project/ programme delivery responsibility.
