Job Description:t tClient Onboarding - Assistant Vice President t tJob Description t Job Level- Assistant Vice President tCost Center Desc- Client Onboarding t Shift Timing- UK t tRole Description - Summary t Provide leadership, analysis and compliance policy guidance/ support to facilitate and improve productivity of teams . Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on client due diligence, fronting the KYC US team and liaising with all levels of management across customers, Global Banking & amp amp Markets , GTB business lines, Compliance, and other support areas to ensure and efficient, flexible and accurate process for on boarding and revalidating clients. t tResponsibilities / Tasks t Liaise with Compliance/ Business/ Onshore counterparts tPerform quality checks to ensure that defined guideline is adhered tWork as the process owner and ensure end to end management of all activities associated with the process tMonitor process service delivery and ensure accomplishment of targets in adherence to SLAs tMonitor capacity utilization within teams and allocate resources tServe as a point of contact for internal and external escalations tEnsure adherence to standards, procedures and also identify risk mitigants wherever there is a control issue tEffectively manage risk and foster an environment where team is fully aware of Operational Risk management tConduct regular operational performance reviews and participate in monthly self assessments tPartner with sending location and all internal stakeholders tWork closely with other internal teams to ensure top of the line service to clients tPrioritize tasks and ensure adherence to timelines for completion of activities tInitiate and lead change management initiatives within the team tSupervise and manage development of team members tEnsure structured upward & amp amp downward communication tConduct objective setting sessions, performance appraisals, provide feedback & amp amp coaching for all team members tEnsure performance and efficiency of staff meet or exceeds expectation standards tServe as a mentor and offer guidance for team level and individual level challenges tParticipate in cross process initiatives which are formulated to create or improve existing processes tSupport in preparing of MIS required for management decision making tShould be adept in spotting trends (in data points) and analyze the same for further action tMust be able to multi task effectively t t tExperience / Exposure t Effective communication skills - to be able to manage relationships with clients virtually. tAble to cope well under pressure and meet deadlines tEye for detail and willingness to question current state practices tIndependent, self- motivated and a team player. tAbility to use sound judgment to determine due diligence quality and if meets regulatory standards. tAbility to apply regulatory guidance to review process in absence of written policy tExcellent verbal and written communication skills tStrong time management, organizational, planning and follow- up skills ability to multi- task effectively tStrong analytical and problem- solving skills. tStrong interpersonal skills ability to partner with internal partners and leverage internal resources tExcellent attention to detail. tExceptional organizational, planning and management skills tAbility to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business users . tStrong capacity to assimilate other stakeholders perspectives and fast learning abilities tPro- active and business orientation with proven ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands tAbility to assess stakeholder needs to improve customer experience and showing resilience under tressure and providing best in class solutions tProficient in MS Office applications t t Education / Certification t Graduates with good academic records tOverall experience of atleast 8 years in the Banking/ Finance industry tEffective communication skills - to be able to manage relationships with clients virtually tKYC background with a minimum of 4 years experience working in Client Onboarding team tExperience of working in a highly- matrixed environment, and accustomed to bridging the gap between disparate organizations and cultures. tGood knowledge of regulatory trends and developments tProven ability to prioritize competing demands. tGeneral knowledge of Business Banking product set, including TS Products t t t
