Job Description:Department Name: APAC Deal Management Department Description: Oracles Deal Management Organization creates and reviews contract documents for sales organizations, partners, and end customers. We support the Oracle sales organization to win compliant business while mitigating commercial risk for Oracle, by enforcing internal controls and adhering to corporate business practice and policies. We are part of the Global Finance Operations Team, which is responsible for the revenue quote-to-commission process flow across all lines of business (License, Systems, Cloud, Support, Professional Services) within Oracle. Manager Deal Management The Global Financial Information Center, Oracle India Private Limited is 100% subsidiary of Oracle Corporation. GFIC is one the key Shared Service Center (SSC) for Oracle providing support globally across 67 countries and having 2,800+ finance processionals. Our Mission: To provide a predictable, scalable, high quality, cost effective contracting document service, while managing risk and enabling sales to win compliant business. Deal Management is responsible for preparation, acceptance, and management of commercial contracts including licensing agreements for all License, Services and Systems. Work with Legal, sales, other finance teams through the deal cycle. This role is responsible to handle one of the lines of business in the center across English speaking countries in Asia Pacific, managing managers and deal specialists. Span of Management 8-12 HC Job responsibilities: Process Improvement Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and KPIs thereby saving cost, adopting best practices by partnering with SSCs and recommend process enhancements Building, Developing & coaching team Manage set of ICs & Ms to ensure delivery & development Mentor team to become competitive globally for newer projects and opportunities Understand training needs / solutions and implement these to improve teams competencies and have a good succession plan Working globally, Building relationship and managing stakeholders Interact with multiple stakeholders, implementing standardized policies/procedures, aligning with different function and adding value to business Work closely with Sales, Business Development, Order Management, Legal, Revenue Recognition and other finance teams to solve business problems Planning and securing delivery Need to have a high level of operational excellence, improving performance and implementing change Managing escalation and keeping the communication channels opened with other stakeholders Quality assurance and improvement Ensure and improve quality standards Quality a way of life Qualifications MBA from renowned institute preferred. Graduates with Law or Commerce back group will be considered too Job Requirements: o Minimum 8+ years relevant business experience, preferably contracts management and drafting experience o Experience with Oracles application software preferred o Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills o Open to work in shifts for serving Asia Pacific countries o Highly motivated team player with excellent analytical skills o Strong coaching and counseling skills o Good leadership and decision making abilities o Exposure in quality management (six-sigma, TQM)
