Job Description:The primary role of a successful Product Solutions Engineer is to work collaboratively with the direct sales team to provide support for all technical aspects of the sales cycle. Job requirements include but are not limited to the following activities Software demonstration, RFI/RFP preparation, opportunity and account planning, technical liaison (representing sales) to product management teams. The Product SOlutions Engineer plays a vital role in & amp nbsp establishing and supporting the technical sales relationship with prospects and clients. In concert with the sales representative, the Product Solutions Engineer maps product capabilities to client needs and sets mutually understood and accepted expectations related to our solutions to ensure the success of post-sale implementations. As part of a small but growing sales and marketing organization, the qualified candidate will also assist in the development of policies, practices and sales support tools including but not limited to standardized solution presentations, competitive analysis, pricing models, sales policies, sales practices, and any other tools/programs as required. Responsibilities Provide technical sales support for the sales team during all phases of the sales cycle. Develop and present the business benefits in conjuction with the functional capabilities of products to prospective customers. Develop prospect specific demonstrations. Participate in the opportunity discovery process to identify and document business and technical requirements during the prospect qualification phase of the sales cycle. Understand the prospect' s business and technical requirements as related to specific functions and/or capabilities. Assist in the post-sale transition from sales to the implementation team.
